Last week we completed a crisis media training session for plant managers and company spokespersons of a client operating in the chemical industry. This is something we do regularly for this client and session after session we see clear improvements from the participants.
This time, we chose to train the corporate spokespeople in a TV studio, allowing them to fully experience a live broadcast. After quickly reviewing communication techniques, the participants stepped into their roles. In the studio, after the launch of the news report on a hypothetical incident scenario, Rachele Bianchi Porro our Associate Advisor and professional journalist at the Swiss national television RSI put the company spokespersons under pressure. At the end Patrick Trancu, CBCI and Rachele analysed the video footage with the participants and identified potential areas for improvement.
