Is Tesla fast becoming a Toxic brand?

These articles by CNN and the BBC both highlight and summarize many of the challenges and issues faced by Tesla I have been posting about over the past month. Mostly in Italian.


Tesla is quickly turning into a toxic brand globally, perhaps one of the fastest and enduring reputation crises we have ever seen. One that may very well lead to its demise. And its boss Elon Musk who has over the past 3 months lost 121 USD billion in share value does not seem to be particularly concerned. Is his management team concerned? It might. But Tesla’s corporate culture does not allow anyone to disagree with the boss.


In the meantime protests continue, to the extent that Tesla has been excluded by the organizers from the Vancouver car show due to security concerns. But given the current state of relations between the US and Canada that might just be an excuse.
